A Special Note from Founder & Owner, Amy Oakley
Thank you for visiting my 1027Productions.com website.
As you will read in this brief bio, I have a passion for the art of translating a Client's ideas into copy that is informative, entertaining and customized.
For 18 years, I have perfected my writing talent through employment and freelance assignments in a wide-range of industries.
My first job was a copy editor at a newspaper in San Antonio, then quickly worked my way to Sports Editor. I have also worked in marketing for the real estate industry where great ad copy helps guide potential buyers through the house on a "visual" tour. I am also a screenwriter with a knack for writing stories that captivate the imagination.
As a result, my thought process is fast-paced and action-based, yet descriptive and engaging, so I deliver crisp concise copy that is both visually and rhythmically appealing.
Inspired by the number of freelance assignments that found me, I founded 1027 Productions in August 2006.
Here are a few additional highlights about my career and past experiences:

In addition to the satisfaction of building relationships with Clients, my success as a freelance professional also allows me to give back to my community by donating a portion of the proceeds from my 1027 Productions assignments to various charities.

I look forward to doing business with you!
